tight pre-defined timelines by ensuring that the business allocated user testers
were aware of the testing remit and were also fully involved and available for

required to the business users to help them with their involvement in UAT Ø

implementation of the integrated XTP (Cross Track Projection) system into the
London Underground Network Ø

separate test environment that I was responsible for on a day-to-day basis
located in Walthamstow. Also
dealing with all 3rd party suppliers throughout and measuring all the
deliverable against plan as well as managing all defects through to successful

required to meet ISO 9000:2008 and Sarbanes-Oxley levels of acceptance Ø

I started off on this project by defining, writing and
implementation the overall Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scripts and Quality
Assurance documentation from scratch when I was based in the UK, also advising
the Software Development Team in structured Testing consideration during their
development process Ø
The scope of my remit was to closely liaise, and build up a
rapport, with a 3rd party Project Management company based in Spain
called Soluziona, as well as to build up the test team that I was taking over to
Egypt with me to help me test the system thoroughly.
I also presented QA presentations to the Client, as well as produced the
comprehensive Acceptance Packs for sign-off at the closing stages of the project
and ensuring a high quality of QA was adhered to throughout the project Ø
I was also tasked with building up a test team from scratch that
were going to be with me during the initial testing in the UK and also to be my
test team over in Egypt. I had to
search for, interview, select and train up the staff that were going to be my
test team, as well as to sort out all that they require for their relocation
with me to Egypt for the duration of the project Ø
The testing scope that I produced covered the complete scope of
the complex Maintenance Management System that managed the entire LNG plant.
I managed the performance of the initial Systems and Systems Integration
Testing (SIT) within the UK prior to implementing the Integrated Maintenance
Management System Software into the Egypt based hardware platform and then
performing all of the SIT scope of tests, to perform a validation assessment
against the UK test results, before performing all of the User Acceptance
Testing phase Ø
Managed the Client and 3rd party relationships to ensure regular
communications throughout and client availability for the scheduling of test
witnessing Ø
I liaised with all levels of project staff (up to Senior Director
level) in London, Egypt and Spain to ensure information was passed through to
the relevant people, where I was initially based in London before moving out to
Egypt for the remainder of the project through to handover to Client Ø
I delivered a fully tested, and working, integrated software
system (Computerised Maintenance Management System, Laboratory Information
Management System, Real Time Information System, Electronic Document Management
System and PI (Plant Information) System) to the Client within timeframes
required, also resulting in a complete Auditable trail of structured
documentation that meets IEEE, ISO and Sarbanes-Oxley Quality Assurance

Project managed the entire Testing process for a major UK based
Life & Pensions company (PPML), dealing with data migration and the
integration of a Workflow system, Pension Administration system, Cash Management
system, PAYE system and a Web Portal system, which resulted in a more structured

Defined testing standards, and project related documentation, for
a number of CA’s key development projects, covering both e-commerce and non
e-commerce related developments, and presented these recommendations to the
project managers by working closely with Senior Management and representative
from the MoD, Virgin and a World leading Greek shipping company.
This resulted in a resilient and regular product quality assessment. Ø
Liaised with all levels of internal and external staff, some
located at CATS in India, as well as with senior management staff of CA’s
clients, including CEO and Managing Director levels engaging both technical and
non-technical staff, therefore ensuring everybody was kept up to date with the
overall product delivery status. Ø
Defined stringent acceptance criteria for product releases from QA
and negotiated the acceptance levels of UAT with the 3rd party, which
resulted in total understanding of what was acceptable for product delivery. Ø Responsible for signing off developments that have successfully been through the QA testing process that I had defined prior to allowing UAT commencement, resulting in a compete awareness of quality expectations.
